1996

  • Quest Laboratories established from the amalgamation of The Medical Laboratory, Health Medical and Quest Laboratories in Singapore.

  • Innovative Diagnostics established as a subsidiary of Singhealth.

  • Gribbles Pathology begins operations in Malaysia.

2010

  • Gribbles becomes the first major private pathology laboratory in Malaysia to be accredited by NATA.

  • Quest Laboratories accredited with ISO 15189 Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (SAC-SINGLAS) by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC).

  • Safework Laboratories accredited by NATA in Australia.

  • Clinipath is accredited by Standards Malaysia.

2012

2015

  • Dr. Chris Ting founds Quantum Diagnostics in Malaysia.

  • Innovative Diagnostics is the first multi-disciplinary private medical laboratory in Singapore to become a College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited laboratory.

2016

  • Quest Laboratories becomes the only private independent full-service laboratory in Singapore to hold dual international accreditation (CAP and SINGLAS).

  • Innovative Diagnostics is recognized by the Westgard Sigma Verification Program - the first medical institution in Singapore to be so awarded.

2017

  • BioMark is founded.

  • GenomixLab recognised as the Best Advanced Genomics Laboratory at INPenang Awards 2017

2018

  • At the ASEAN Rice Bowl Startup Awards, Biomark wins the award for the Best Health Tech Startup in ASEAN.

  • Pathology Asia is founded with the acquisition of Gribbles Pathology, Quantum Diagnostics, Innovative Diagnostics and Quest Laboratories by TPG Capital.

2019

  • Pathology Asia acquires Safework Laboratories in Australia; and Clinipath in Malaysia.

  • Announcement of Merger of Innovative Diagnostics and Quest Laboratories in Singapore.

2020

  • GenomixLab becomes the only CAP-accredited genetic diagnostics lab in Malaysia.

  • Pathology Asia acquires Advanced Genomics, the parent company of GenomixLab; and BioMark.

  • GenomixLab wins the award for Advanced Genetic Centre Provider of the Year in the Asia-Pacific at the Global Health Asia-Pacific Awards.

2011

  • Innovative Diagnostics changes ownership to a group of doctors and lab operators led by Dr. Chris Ting.

  • Quest's entry into Vietnam with a laboratory at Hanh Phuc Women & Children's Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

2021

  • Innoquest Diagnostics Pte. Ltd. is officially launched from the merger of Innovative Diagnostics and Quest Laboratories in Singapore.

  • LifeStrands is founded and launched in Singapore.
